Planning for Play in STEAM pt2

  • Priority Area:  Delivery and assessment of the EYLF
  • Mapping: NQS, EYLF, APST
  • Estimated Hours: 6+ hours of learning
  • Difficulty: Beginner
  • Course Duration: 4 months

We explore the scientific method and holistic thinking!

Your Challenge

Though our nation expects you (teachers) to support STEAM education, they give you few resources and virtually no training.
We are here to help you!
Some teachers are reluctant to dive into the world of STEAM for these reasons.

  • you're not sure where to start
  • you didn't do well in science at school
  • you may think you need expensive resources
  • you may think you're not smart enough to tackle STEAM education

The Solution

This course is designed with you in mind, an early learning teacher.
We take the soft approach to teaching STEAM.
The only thing we expect you to know is children!

In the lesson Unlock Nature you will learn some deep knowledge about scientific investigation,  and how to apply it in your learning environment.
Next, the lesson called Programming Power is all about Holistic Thinking.
We prove that everything is connected, and make effective use of a word generator to make amazing learning connections.

What you learn comes from the fields of computer science, logistics, and physics and will raise the quality of your planning and teaching.
